Both a priceless and precious picture to have in your family collection! Interesting the way the priests have both posed. Probably would have been more relaxing for them if they had been standing. Not to be sacrilegious, but the priest on the right is very handsome!
You are so right! The priests steal the show in this vintage image, from the way they’re sitting to their intensely serious expressions—priceless is right
Isn’t it funny Marie, and interesting to think of our grandparents as young students? My Granny was the first girl to bob her hair and wear rolled down hose in her town in Kansas in the 1920s. She taught me at 9 how to do the Charleston!
Could my grandmother ever have imagined that her granddaughter would be sharing her school picture with the world almost 100-years after it was taken?! I hope wherever she is she’s smiling
You know, the first thing I thought of when I saw this photo was the extreme differences between girls of yesteryears vs. today’s? Something so innocent about this photo… you’re grandmother is beautiful.
Thank you! You are so right about the differences! My sweet grandmother was the true definition of a lady— extremely refined and very proper (notice how she’s holding her hands so perfectly in her lap ). She was an absolute dream and it’s an honor for me to celebrate her here
Love these images. Definitely makes feel like I was born in the wrong era! Wish all little girls had pictures like these to look up to instead of images like Honey Boo Boo and Snooki!!
Another great image……
Merci:-)

Wow, you really favor your Grandmother. How wonderful!
That’s so nice of you to say. Thank you!
