“Make visible what, without you, might never have been seen.”
Today is an anniversary of sorts—one year ago today I launched my first post into the blogosphere. I had never intended to fall into this vortex—truthfully, knew nothing about it. I was busy trying to finish a memoir, care for my dying mother, and give what was left of me to my family. Suffering from a serious case of writers block I quite by accident stumbled upon the blog of the lovely Susannah Conway. I was hooked. Her candor and wit and her ability to share the not so pretty parts of her life really spoke to me. The rest, as they say, is history. I jumped into the blogging pool knowing full well that I was probably the last one in the water, but it didn’t matter because it was clear that there was still plenty of room in the pool. Many thanks to all of you who have followed me on this journey. Your stopping by means a great deal to me and is much appreciated. As I enter my second year of blogging I will continue to evolve, but my hope is that as I share parts of my life with you—the art of my life— you will be entertained, enlightened, even inspired. Cheers!
As always, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Anniversary! What a wonderful picture, beautiful outfit and one huge cyclopean eye of the camera, the 21st century self portrait done to perfection. Oh, and by the way you are not the last on in the pool. I am.
Cheers!
Thank you! So glad to know there was still a line behind me waiting to use the diving board
Congrats!! Can’t wait to read your memoir!
Thanks, Robin! I’ve actually put the memoir on hold for a bit while I work on an inspirational book about my mother—the final months of her life spent living with me and what she taught me through the whole process. What a gift she gave me! She really was an amazing woman!
Congrats Marie!
I can’t wait to hear about your amazing mom!
Thanks so much Jeannie!
