Hi all! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had a great time celebrating our 7th Anniversary with a weekend getaway in the city. Got a chance to check out the Roy Lichtenstein Retrospective on Saturday. The late pop artist’s work is on display at Chicago’s Art Institute, through September 3rd.
Lichtenstein is best known for his comic-strip-style paintings, but his body of work, which spans some 50-years, includes much more—like beautiful Chinese landscapes.
In homage to Mr. Lichtenstein, I decided to take a collection of my weekend photos and share them with you pop-art- style. Enjoy and as always, thanks for stopping by!

I love how your pop-art style pictures turned out…very creative! It looks like you had fun with this.
I probably had a little too much fun with this! So much more creative than the laundry I should have been
doing
Love this! Nice work with your photos, very artistic.
Thank You!
Reblogged this on Chunky Bazaar.
Happy Anniversary Marie!
Very creative photo work!
Thank you! I thought turning my photos into pop-art would be a fun way to remember a great weekend
