“I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.”
~Diane Ackerman
This was a random shot I took out of my hotel room window. I love the vertical and horizontal lines of the building’s facade. As well, the play of light and darkness, and the reflections from the street signs below are really captivating and speak to me at a visceral level. So many lives within the walls of this building—everyone so uniquely different, yet the same. It fascinates me to imagine all of the stories, because of this I am certain: everyone has one.

Perfect musings for a spellbinding photo. . .love the quote too!
